Whitmire’s Annual Trick or Treat night & Town Halloween Carnival will be held this year on Saturday October 28th with Trick or Treat beginning around dusk and the carnival opening at 7pm! This has been a town tradition for many years, but this is the third year with Mustard Seed Movement hosting the events. Each year we strive for bigger and better!

Trick or Treaters will haunt the areas of Church St, Glenn St, Coleman Ave, McDonald St, and Union St, in Whitmire SC. Then beginning at 7pm, the Carnival doors will open, and the night’s ghoulish festivities will commence. We have pulled all the strings this year to ensure that a grand time is had by all!

The Carnival will be held in the town’s recreation gym at 10 Setzler Alley, Whitmire SC, 29178. Festivities will spill over onto the tennis courts and down to Main St. Before I mention some of the fun things that will be happening, first let us tell you about our wonderful event sponsors. Much love and appreciation to Joe’s Market, Lawson’s Tree Service, W.E. Baker and Son, Sonic of Newberry, Bright Oak Dental, the Whitmire Rec Department, Tony Poston, and the Town of Whitmire. Along Main St., the sizzling sounds and mouth watering smells of food and drink vendors will fill the streets. We will have hibachi from Boun’s Fire & Rice, Mexican cuisine from Taqueria La Frontera, loaded fries from Project Concessions, funnel cakes and fried oreos from Luscious Lemon, fried pies and donut bar from Erica Graham, coffees and hot chocolates from Sips, snow cones from Dreamin’ Acres, and freeze-dried treats from Wired Treats. Inside the gymnasium, fang-tastic surprises await. Dj Seddy Seds enchanting tunes will be filling the skies. Ross the Balloon artist will be twisting up your favorite hats, swords, and animals. Carnival games to be played. Annual costume contest will be held. New this year, a cakewalk with over 30 sweet prizes so far! Visit the eerie photo booth for all to capture the night. Just out the door there will be a bounce house, huge slide, and obstacle course from Bounds of Fun! And that’s not all. Down on the street, a ride on a train! Also, for the adults, TNG Ax will host Ax throwing for just $1 per throw. The games, bounce attractions, train, balloon artist and more come with your purchase of a wristband for $5 per band! We accept cash, Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal. This is an event you just don’t want to miss. Follow us on Facebook at Mustard Seed Movement and add our event to your calendars! Be sure to keep updated with our event highlights so you don’t miss any of our exciting news! Crawl on over to have a howlin’ good time at Whitmire Trick or Treat and Halloween Carnival.
