Spooktacular in the Square!

Spooktacular began in 2008 and was the brainchild of Officer Deana Wilbanks, who wanted to bring the children of Prosperity a safe and fun way to Trick or Treat involving the Police Department. Since 2008, the event has grown into a much-anticipated event and moved to the Downtown Square. The Town in partnership with Grace Lutheran Church, Prosperity Business Association and Prosperity Police Department, hosts a safe, wonderful, fun-filled event.

The event includes businesses in and out of Prosperity who furnish a trunk full of goodies and,

the Town of Prosperity along with a bag of goodies gives out 500 coupons for a visit with Santa and a free photo during our Holiday Shoppers Walk in December. In addition to Trunk or Treating, a DJ will be playing spooky and not-so-spooky music, a Bouncy House will be in full swing, games and so much more; you just never know what awaits you at Spooktacular in the Square.

Come out and enjoy Spooktacular and experience our Downtown restaurants, then return on December 2 to redeem your coupon for a free picture with Santa during our Holiday Shoppers Walk and again on Sunday, December 3 for our Christmas Parade at 3 pm.

Spooktacular in the Square is Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00. Holiday Shoppers Walk is December 2, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Prosperity Christmas Tree Lighting is December 2, 2023 at 7:00

Prosperity Christmas Parade is December 3, 2023 at 3 pm
