New Year, New You with Revenge Face

They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but at Revenge Face the looks are hot. Artist and Owner, Holte Avery, has created a spa here in Newberry that is worthy of praise and ready to slay.

What started as a small photography business for Holte in 2014 has grown into so much more - but it wasn't always about beauty. While specializing in styled photoshoots, Holte noticed that the models never came to set with camera-ready makeup. "That's when I thought to myself, 'I could make a lot of money by offering makeup sessions/classes before photoshoots," he admitted. After 2 years of photography, he decided to start investing more time into the art of makeup and soon found a love for it. He said, "The more that I studied makeup the more I enjoyed creating different looks for each individual person. That's when I took my hobby to the next level."

And so, Revenge Face was born. In 2017, Holte rebranding as a beauty and photography service. While many find the name to be a little intimidating, don't let it scare you away. Although 'Revenge Face' came from multiple different influences, the main inspiration is uplifting and relatable. "Multiple girls came to me that had been in broken relationships. They all came with the same story and wanted a little 'pick-me-up' or 'revenge face," Holte explained, "Revenge Face' is a fierce name but our goal is to make everyone feel beautiful - because they are."

Revenge Face isn't just makeup, though. They offer makeup applications, makeup classes, facials, and brow sculpting. Even better, after their grand opening they will offer so much more.

Yes, there will be a grand opening - and you're invited! On February 1st, from 4-7pm, Revenge Face will be hosting an awesome event to celebrate officially opening their doors. Not only will they have giveaways, but they will hold meet and greets with the owners of Layers Skincare and the owners and employees of Revenge Face Spa. The best part - they will have special pricing and even hold demonstrations during the event!
