Start your morning off right by stopping at Genesis Hub for a cup of coffee. Cozy up by a window to enjoy a warm specialty drink, anytime from 7am-7pm. To get you in all the Fall feelings, try their Autumn Spice Latte, a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors that tastes just like pumpkin pie--minus the pumpkin. If that's not your thing, they have lots of other delicious drinks for you to try. You can even cover breakfast with one of their wonderful, fair trade sweets! Check out their website by clicking the cup below.
Once you've got enough caffeine in your system, take a short drive to The Palmetto Trail: Peak to Pomaria Passage for a gorgeous morning hike and some great photo ops. Stop to see the 1,100 foot long railroad trestle built in 1904 and enjoy the fall leaves from the forest around it. If that's too much of a drive or you aren't up for such a hike, you can visit the Lynch's Woods Passage that sits around 3 miles long and provides a moderate walk for those who want to enjoy nature this Autumn.
Visit Carolina Pride Pastures for a fun and educational experience this Fall! Meet the farm's family of alpacas, llamas, and Great Pyrenees named Elsa. Take a tour and visit their farm shop, full of alpaca products made on the farm itself. They're open on Saturday's from 10am-2pm for you to visit them, so take your family on a cool autumn morning to meet some new furry friends! Click the picture to visit their website for more information!
For your Fall antique fix, the Little Mountain Unlimited Antique Mall is well worth it. Not only do they have a wide variety of unique finds for you to take home, but you can sit to have lunch at the antique mall's cafe. The quaint, eclectic environment makes for a memorable lunch experience--not to mention the food is great! You can visit them almost anytime, since they're open 10am-6pm every day of the week.
If you're on your way back from viewing all the cool antiques, you should stop in downtown Prosperity to visit some of the cute shops they have to offer. From baked goods that are to die for at The Blend of Art and Coffee to cute home decor at A Beautiful Home and Prosperity Home. More information will be linked to the pictures below!
Visit Downtown Newberry, too, for a great shopping experience. Buy some goodies for yourself or get started early snagging holiday gifts this November. Find anything you could be looking for: furniture, art, clothing, accessories, and more. The items below are from Pieces of Time East, Out On A Whim Boutique, and The Carpenter Gallery. There are so many others that could be mentioned, too, that are worth the visit. Take the time to see them for yourself! Click the pictures below to find out more about the merchandise and when you can get your hands on it.
You must have started to get hungry by now, right? After a long day of fun, sit down at one of Newberry's awesome downtown dining spots. The options vary depending on what you're in the mood for. For a cozy, casual experience, hit Steelhorse Smokehouse for classic barbeque, The Grille on Main for traditional American, or The Corner Scoop for a soup and sandwich menu (not to mention the delicious ice cream). If you want something a little more formal, try Figaro the Dining Room, The Cabana, or Steven W's for delectable cuisine.
Finish the day with a nightcap at one of our local spots in downtown Newberry. For beer or wine in a cozy environment, settle into Half Full Coffee and Wine or The Aviator. For a vintage bar feeling, sit down at Bar Figaro or The Storm Cellar and have a drink. All are wonderful options that provide an experience unique to Newberry. What's a better way to end the perfect fall day?
Happy Fall, Y'all!
