2. Keep Kiddos Safe During Trick or Treating
A Little Light for Halloween Night!
Purchasing glow stick bracelets for your kiddos to wear allows drivers to easily spot them.
Strategically place reflective tape on parts of their costumes or their candy bags. Glow sticks in their bags are also an easy hack to see what candy they have. Oh, and it allows you to “inspect the goods”.....you know the mommy tax!
3. Always Have Glue and Paper on Deck!
Easy Halloween Crafts for your Little Monsters!
Construction paper, cotton balls, glue, and markers can go a long way in making fun crafts. The cotton balls could be used to make ghosts, mummies, or get creative by coloring the cotton with markers to make your own spooky critter.
4. Easy Candy Alternative
Popcorn Witch Hands!
An easy, fun treat you and your kids will have fun making together is popcorn witch hands. Fill plastic gloves with candy corn and popcorn and tie them off with a Halloween-styled ribbon. This is an easy 10 minute craft and a yummy snack!
5. Extra Bags are Going to be your Lifesaver
Always Remember to Bring Extra Bags for your Monsters.
Having an extra bag will benefit you in the long haul, especially if your kids are carrying small trick-or-treat pails. It will help with the overflow and be aware of how much they’re eating along the way. Also can use the clear thick plastic bags to see the candy more clearly.
6. Long Sleeve Costumes
No More Carrying Jackets and Fighting the Kiddos About It.
If Halloween night is cold, putting long sleeves under the costume might not be a bad idea. Try to find an underlayer to match the costume to free you from worrying your kids are cold.
7. Bring a Wagon
In Crowded Streets, Don’t Worry About Your Kids!
Trust me, this hack will save you from carrying your kids or hearing them complain that their feet hurt. It also helps you keep your little ones from wandering too far. The best benefit is that you can carry around mommy “snacks and juice” in the wagon!
8. Mummy Dogs
A Quick and Fun Dinner Your Kids Will Love.
If your kids love hotdogs, there’s an easy way to transform them for Halloween! You will need refrigerated crescent rolls or pizza dough, hot dogs or little smokies, mustard, and ketchup. Cut the dough into strips and wrap the hot dog leaving a small gap at the top for the eyes. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. After they’re cool, with the help of your kids, decorate the eyes with either mustard or ketchup. Then enjoy!
9. Ghostly Lollipops
A Great Way to get Spooky on a Dime!
What you will need;
White tissue paper or any type of white cloth, lollipops (Blow pop size), and any type of string.
Its a quick and easy craft that takes you no time to do. All you have to do is, wrap the cloth around the lollipop and then tie it off with the string. Then draw a ghost face on it!
