I love celebrating Easter and coloring eggs. One of my favorite shops in the world happens to be in Salzburg, Austria. It is a Christmas and Easter Egg store. These hand-painted, blown-out eggs are simply gorgeous! To die for! Now I do NOT have the talent of these artists and I'm all for doing things the easy way. I'm definitely an involved mom that loves doing fun things with my kids, but everything I craft or cook with them needs to have a shortcut or be super easy.
Below are some quick and easy Easter Egg ideas.
Here are a couple of ideas:
1. Yes, you can make the homemade dye and it's great fun, but with toddlers, who has the time? Buy the kits - Walmart, Target, or even the Dollar store will sell them.
2. Boil your eggs the night before and refrigerate. This way the eggs will be cool to the touch.
3. If you have allergies to eggs - the stores sell these cool fake eggs that can be used the same way as a regular egg.
4. Have your colors ready - use an egg carton or put it in a large plastic container.
5. Have many whisks at the ready!
6. Let your children color on the egg with crayons - when they put the egg in the dye, you'll see what they colored - so cool!
