Tickets are on sale now for The Social Event of the Year, A Taste of Lake Murray, presented by Lexington Medical Center, March 2 at 6 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia. Dance the night away while listening to music from Beach Music favorites The Swingin' Medallions and local duo Prettier Than Matt. Sample flavors from around the region and vote for your favorite chef to join Team Lake Murray Country at the World Food Championship. The 2023 Taste of Lake Murray restaurants include: Alodia's Cucina Italiana, Bakon Southern Eatery, Bessie's Bites & Sweet Delights, Big Boys BBQ, Blue Marlin, Cafe Strudel, Chophouse of Chapin, Cinnamon Hill Kitchen, Colombo's, Doko Smoke, Hollow Creek Distillery, Lexington Innovation Center, Moe's Southwest Grill, Nothing Bundt Cakes, O'Hara's Irish Pub, Roy's Grille, Sarah's Rockin' Kitchen, The Bistro, Verde.
“We can’t wait for this year’s Taste of Lake Murray event! The entertainment lineup is amazing and the participating restaurants are some of the best in the region,” said, Vickie Davis, VP of
Special Events and Funding with Capital City/Lake Murray Country.
The Taste of Lake Murray is the sole fundraiser for the 4th of July Fireworks event produced by the Capital City/Lake Murray Regional Tourism Board. Save the date: 4th of July Celebration Fireworks is July 1, 2023. Donations for the event are accepted year-round at the Lake Murray Country Visitors Center: 2184 North Lake Drive, Columbia or make a donation at LakeMurrayFireworks.com.
